  1. License agreement and limited warranty. 
  2.  
  3. The software and documentation enclosed in this package (the "program") are
  4. provided to you only upon the condition that you agree to be bound to the
  5. terms of this agreement between you and Cedco Publishing Company ("Cedco").
  6. By installing this program, you agree to be bound by the terms and
  7. conditions of this agreement. If you do not so agree, promptly return this
  8. package to your place of purchase for a refund.
  9.  
  10. LICENSE. The graphics, sound, text and elements on the Program are licensed
  11. only for unadvertised, personal use. You may (a) make one copy of the Software 
  12. solely for backup or archival purposes provided that such copy contains all 
  13. of the proprietary legends of CEDCO which appear therein, or (b) transfer the 
  14. Software to a single hard disk, provided that you keep the original Software 
  15. solely for backup or archival purposes.

  17. LIMITED WARRANTY; LIMITATION OF REMEDIES. Cedco warrants to you only that the
  18. media upon which the software is recorded shall be free from defects in materials
  19. and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of ninety (90) days
  20. after your receipt of the program. In the event of such a defect, Cedco
  21. will, at its discretion, either replace or repair the program or refund to
  22. you the price paid by you for the program. To make a warranty claim, return
  23. the program together with your proof of purchase to your place of purchase
  24. during the warranty period. Except to the extent expressly provided in this
  25. paragraph, the program is provided on an "as is" basis, without any
  26. warranties of any kind, including, but not limited to, any implied
  27. warranties of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose. You
  28. assume the entire liability for the selection and use of the program and
  29. Cedco shall have no liability for any errors, malfunctions, defects, or loss
  30. of data resulting from or related to the use of the program.

  32. LIMITED LIABILITY. Cedco shall not be liable to you for any indirect, special
  33. or consequential damages or lost profits arising out of or related to this agreement 
  34. or your use of the program, even if Cedco has been advised of the possibility
  35. of such damages. In no event shall Cedco's liability hereunder, if any, exceed the 
  36. price paid by you for the program.

  38. Some states may not recognize the foregoing limited warranty, limitation of
  39. remedies and limitation of liability and, if you qualify, you may have
  40. different or additional rights and remedies.
  41.  
  42. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and CEDCO and may
  43. not be modified unless in writing and signed by a duly authorized
  44. representative of CEDCO. This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the
  45. State of California.
